Hallo lieve lezers, een nieuwe week op mijn blog betekend een nieuwe serie posts! De afgelopen weken stonden steeds in het thema van een andere trend, of stijl en deze week zal ik de klassieke rode kleur met jullie delen. Vandaag begin ik met het swatchen van een fel rode nagellak en geef ik daarbij mijn eerlijke mening. Ook vertel ik meer over de klassiekrode trend door middel van een fotocollage. Hello dear readers, a new week on my blog means a new series of posts! The last weeks I've been sharing a lot of different trends for the spring with you and this week I will share the classic red color with my readers. Today I start with the swatches of a bright red nail polish and I'll give my honest opinion about the quality. Beautiful natural fingertips and polished nails for the winter. Who doesn't want that? This week I want to share this article with you where I show you one color that is a real must-have in your nail polish collection this winter. This shade is from Shoeby Fashion, a popular Dutch fashion brand which your can find online and in the Netherlands. This is one of my favorite shops, where I like to come to score basic items but they also offer a lot of other must have clothing as well. The polish that I'll share with you in this article are no longer available, but because this metallic shade is going to be a Hugh trend this December, I wanted to share them with you in this post today. Marimekko exhibition +3 inspired manicures

Hallo allemaal! Op donderdag 20 februari ben ik naar de tentoonstelling van Marimekko in de kunsthal R'dam geweest. Ik kwam daar eigenlijk voor een andere tentoonstelling, maar toen ik eenmaal in het museum was, ben ik toch maar doorgelopen naar de zaal over dit kledingmerk.  Ik had nog nooit van Marimekko gehoord maar ik keek mijn ogen uit bij alle kleurrijke  printjes en mooie kledingstukken op de tentoonstelling. Toen ik thuiskwam had ik weer super veel inspiratie voor een nieuw artikel. Daarom besloot ik 3 nail arts te maken die geïnspireerd zijn op de kleding van dit merk. Hello everyone! On Thursday 20 Februari, I've visited the exhibition of the fashion brand Marimekko in the Kunsthal in Rotterdam. At first I came there for another exhibition, but once I was in the museum, I walked right away to the Marimekko corner ;) I had never heard off this brand but once I saw their colourful patterns and beautiful clothes, I fell in love immediatelly! When I came home, I had a lot of inspiration for a new article. So I decided to create three nail arts, which are inspirated on the clothes that I saw in the museum! Bright polishes 4 winter by L'oreal ~review~

Op mijn blog is al een aantal keer de vraag voorbij gekomen wat mijn favoriete nagellak kleuren voor deze winter zijn. Naast de trends voor dit seizoen, zijn er natuurlijk ook vaste kleuren die ik iedere winter opnieuw op mijn nagels draag. Voor dit artikel zocht ik in mijn stash naar de drie kleuren die ik iedere winter weer het meeste gebruik. Zoals velen van jullie wel weten heeft L’oreal Paris inmiddels een uitgebreide collectie aan winterse lakjes in het assortiment opgenomen, en laten daar nou precies mijn drie favorieten kleuren tussen zitten! Of de kwaliteit van deze nagellak net zo goed is, blijft dan echter de vraag. In dit artikel test ik drie lakjes van L’oreal voor jullie uit, en geef ik mijn eerlijke mening.

The past week, I’ve received a lot of questions about my favorite colors for this winter. Beside the upcoming trends for this season, there are a number of colors that I wear on my nails, every year again. For this article, I was searching through my nail polish collection for the three colors that I wear on my nails the most. As many of you guys know, L’oreal Paris has a lot of very pretty winter polishes in it’s collection. They also have the colors that I love for this season. But I'm wondering if the quality of these polishes is as good as it should be. In this article, I am going to give three of these polishes a try and I’ll give my honest opinion to you!

 

Trends4 Autumn- winter 2013 Metallic Nails

Swatch Catrice Nickel Minaj + quick dry Topcoat

Naast Pastel kleuren en natuurlijk de Ombre nagels worden ook de Metallic Nails een grote trend deze herfst. Veel merken hebben al hun eigen metallic lakken in het assortiment. Voorbeelden zijn; Barry M, Miss Sporty en Essie. Nu komt ook Catrice met een aantal nieuwe Lakjes waaronder, deze budjet Metallic nagellak. Hij lag vanaf augustus in de winkel. Hoogste tijd dus, om dit nieuwe lakje zelf in te slaan!

Besides Pastel colors and of course the Ombre nails, Metallic Nails are also going to be a big trend this autumn. Many brands have already their own metallic polishes. For example; Barry M, Miss Sporty and Essie. This fall Catrice comes with some new polishes including this new budjet proof Metallic Nail polish. I couldn’t wait and had to buy this color myself. Today I would like to show you some pictures of this beautiful Polish!

Trends4 Autumn-Winter 2013 Emerald green

 

De komende weken zal ik een aantal kleuren gaan Swatchen die zeer geschikt zijn voor deze herfst. Ik begin met dit groene lakje van OPI. Deze nagellak is al wat ouder.  Hij komt namelijk uit de Hong Kong collectie van 2010, maar ik heb hem ruim 1.5 jaar later nog in het vaste assortiment kunnen kopen.

The following weeks, I’m going to swatch some beautiful colors for you. All these polishes are suitable to wear on your nails this Autumn. I’m starting today with this Nail polish from OPI.
